Ubuntu 18.04.2 Out Now with New HWE Kernel

The second-point release of Ubuntu 18.04 LTS has been released. Ubuntu 18.04.2 comes with a large selection of bug fixes, as well as the option to install new Hardware Enablement stack (HWE) kernel. Which is ideal if you have newer hardware that wasn’t around when this version of Ubuntu was release in April 2018.

  1. I am running Ubuntu 18.04.2 on vmware platform on a windows 10 laptop. I am new to this and trying to get access all my files and folders on windows via Ubuntu. Any suggestions??? Thanks in advance.

  2. Hi Quids, have you read anything about the Brave browser?
It is chromium-based (what isn't other than Firefox), and has built in privacy and ad-blocking, then gives the content creators cryptocurrency in the form of BAT when a user spends time on their sites.

Quite an interesting setup really. I have a referral code: https://brave.com/ste944 if you'd like to check it out 🙂

    Cheers 😀

  3. Hello quidsup
The audio is not in sync with the video when we see you in guvcview!!!
How on earth can they put an EOL kernel (at least on kernel.org)!!! At least MX comes with a kernel from the 4.19 LTS!
