suckless BASE- dwm (Rounded Corners, Minimizing, Tag Previews, Window Animations, and more)

If you’re already sold, get my build of dwm here:
https://speedie.gq/dwm
Page is even auto-generated with a script bundled with the window manager itself.

In this video I showcase some features I recently implemented in my build of dwm, most being eyecandy related. This includes:
– Rounded Corners
– Tag previews
– Alpha
– Window animations
– Layout dmenu menu (clickable)
– Hide/Show windows (keybinds and by clicking on the title)
– Fade inactive windows

Window animations are done using picom-jonaburg (Install using the AUR on Arch, or install using an overlay on Gentoo). You can find my picom configuration on GitHub here: https://github.com/speedie-de/dotfiles

The rest is implemented using a bunch of patches, time and effort.

The clickable dmenu buttons are done by patching dmenu, you can get my fork of dmenu here: https://github.com/speedie-de/dmenu
