AFAIKterminals command completion notifications were first introduced by Elementary OS 😉You need to review Linux Lite 2.4 its a great OS and fairly new and rising in popularity
The huge icons might be because of Gnome 3.16, at least in Nautilus. Not sure about other places though, I only noticed the change of Nautilus when I updated from 3.14.
