Make Fedora/Western Style Hat with Wired Structure AT HOME / Adopted From Buckram Hat Technique
I tried to make a hat with wired structure using tools and materials you can find easily. I used Pellon sew-in interfacing I found at Joann instead of millinery double buckram, which is traditionally used for hat-making but hard to find (for a reasonable price and good quality).
(*single buckram technique is more about wetting the sized buckram and shaping it on a wooden mold, but this video is inspired more from stiff structured top-hats that use double buckram)
This is not a quick DIY, but if you are patient, the result is very satisfying 🙂
